Holistic Massage with Atholl Hay
Atholl is now offering a traditional therapeutic Swedish massage incorporating elements from other healing traditions at the Temenos Retreat Center. He will soothe and balance your body, mind and spirit in the treatment rooms set within the retreat's tranquil and beautiful gardens.

Fairview Farm
New on our accommodation page we have Matt and Vicky's Fairview Farm. The farm is very well situated for hiking, both on the farm and at the neighbouring Vrolijkheid Nature Reserve, and has a lovely secluded dam for swimming. De Kaap restaurant is within easy walking distance. They can accommodate groups of up to 14 people!
The Leopards of McGregor
The Landmark Trust Leopard and Predator Project 
has released photographs of wild leopards, many taken near McGregor. They will shortly be installing more camera traps on the Skuilskrans Private Nature Reserve, a group of 10 retreats in the mountains above the village. We look forward to seeing the results.

Rhebokskraal Olive Estate
We are pleased to welcome the Rhebokskraal Olive Estate to the McGregor Village website. The estate offers a wide range of olive dishes and hearty farm cooking, together with accomodation and olive tours. Their products are also available wholesale at the Villagers Farmstall in McGregor village, and at their Rhebokskraal Olive Kitchen next door.
Nature and Hiking
We have been extensively updating our Nature and Hiking page and, in addition, now have a section on the page for FoV - the Friends of Vrolijkheid. The latter now has ready for download editions 37 - 47 of the FoV newsletter, The Rooikat, a comprehensive list of birds spotted at Vrolijkheid, and an image gallery.
Colour Satellite Weather Image
Our weather page now has a stunning colour feed from the Meteosat 0-degree satellite to compliment the meteogram and forecasts from Yr.No. Supplied by EUMESTAT, it is updated several times a day to show the cloud cover over South Africa.
